Parking Details

FREE PARKING OPTIONS: Old Evan Doctor's Office - The best option is to park at the old Evan Doctor's Office on the left side as you go down North 5th Street. There are about 15 free parking spots there. Town Lot at Cherry Alley - If you are driving along North 5th Street, turn left onto Cherry Alley and there is a free parking lot there. Warning, this lot does not have paving or gravel so if it's raining, avoid it because it gets muddy. This is the lot behind Siam Cafe restaurant. Up and Down 5th Street - As you go up and down 5th Street, you'll notice that 90% of the parking on the street is NOT metered. The only metered parking are just a few spots closest to Market Street so you can easily find free parking on this street most days. METERED PARKING OPTIONS: If you do want to use metered parking, there is plenty of metered parking available along Market Street and 5th Street. A quarter gets you 45 minutes. 2 hour limit. Metered parking is checked Monday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You got a ticket? If you pay it within 48 hours you can keep it to the minimal fine of $ 8. Put $ 8 cash (no coins) in your yellow envelope and drop it off at the drop box at 55 South 5th Street where the borough office is located.
