With the release of my first book, WILD MAMA: One Woman's Quest to Live Her Best Life, Escape Traditional Parenthood, and Travel the World, on November 3rd, 2015, I'm looking for ways to expand my brand and package my idea. I have a wonderful publishing team, including a literary agent, editor, and publicist, but I feel it's my job to bring the themes explored in the book alive in a way that will engage my audience and encourage them to take action in their own lives. I believe there are several ways to expand this idea. One way is that I've been collecting photos of women embracing their personal "wild," which are included on my website. My wild involves travel and outdoor adventure, but this is different for everyone and might be painting, sewing, hiking, or running. Free Your Wild celebrates all forms of wild! In addition, I just spoke at a women's conference on the topic "Discover Your Wild," which was very well received. Several women said I'm "the Brene Brown of WILD," and I want to take my idea to the next level.
