It includes $100,000 to launch student entrepreneur projects at BMCC. Visiting faculty at FIT & Fordham. Retired entrepreneur in the sustainability & innovation fields. Tamar Brown

Tamar Brown is an educator turned entrepreneur who has a passion for helping young adults find their purpose. As a native of Jamaica, W.I., she embraces challenges and failures along her journey to becoming an exponential human being. When Tamar is not masterminding her disruption of the fashion industry, she can be found reading a classic novel, taking short trips with her mum and business partner, and just plain enjoying life!

Jacob Elyachar

I am a Content Creator that specializes in online journalism and social media. For a decade, I have reported on entertainment news, music, and pop culture stories on my platform: jakes-take.com. Since 2019, I launched its podcast spin-off: 'The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.' (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jakes-take-with-jacob-elyachar/id1489042015) The podcast features interviews with a plethora of content creators, fitness entrepreneurs, recording artists, and Reality TV alums from 'America's Got Talent,' 'American Idol,' 'American Ninja Warrior,' 'Big Brother,' 'The Challenge,' 'Songland,' and 'Survivor.' I also volunteer my time with the Freelance Exchange of Kansas City and the UJA Federation of New York. Outside of 1MC, I love writing, going on walks, listening to music and cooking.
