In 2009 I founded a regional media organization called Capital At Play. I grew that company from the ground up, built its various revenue streams, and sold the company in February 2020. Leading up to that exit, I joined a start-up to help create a marketplace for private investments, allowing for small businesses to access capital more easily. I also started a personal historian company that I co-manage with my sister. Around that time, I also got married to another amazing Ashevillian and had a couple of wonderful kids. Through the pandemic, I started consulting with companies looking to grow their business by mechanizing their sales process, personifying their brand, becoming thought leaders in their industry, and engaging at scale with current and potential customers.
